Skyline Social, LA's newest rooftop bar, opens with 360-degree views and craft cocktails. Reserve now for a free first round.
If you've been searching for a new spot to watch the sun dip below the Pacific, stop scrolling: Skyline Social, a $3.2-million rooftop bar, opened March 12 on the 32nd floor of the Gas Company Lofts at 800 W. 1st St. in downtown LA. With 360-degree views from the Hollywood Hills to Catalina Island, it's already the hardest reservation in town.
The Vibe and the Views

Spanning 8,500 square feet, Skyline Social features a retractable glass canopy, fire pits, and a 60-foot bar. The space was designed by LA-based Studio Bracket, the team behind The Roof at The Standard. Expect a mix of downtown professionals and weekend travelers, with DJ sets nightly after 9 PM.
Signature Sips and Small Bites
Head bartender Maya Flores, formerly of Death & Co., crafted a menu of 12 cocktails. Two standouts:
- The “Pink Palms” – hibiscus-infused vodka, fresh lime, and a splash of prickly pear, served in a smoked glass.
- The “Smog Sunset” – bourbon from Greenbar Distillery in the Arts District, amaro, and blood orange.
For food, the kitchen turns out California coastal fare: yellowtail crudo ($18), wood-fired octopus ($22), and a crispy Brussels sprout salad ($14).
Reservation Details

Skyline Social is open Wednesday through Sunday from 4 PM to midnight. Prices are on par with other DTLA rooftops: cocktails from $16, small plates from $12. Walk-ins are welcome at the bar, but tables are booked out three weeks in advance.
